Elwha Klallam Heritage Center to Host Award Winning Documentary "Trudell"

November 6th, 2017 - 12:00 pm

In honor of National Native American Heritage Month we invite you to join us on Wednesday, November 15th for a second screening of the award winning documentary Trudell! Movie is from 6:00 pm - 7 pm.

Trudell is a 2005 documentary film about American Indian activist and poet John Trudell. The film traces Trudell's life from his childhood in Omaha, Nebraska, through his role as a leader of the American Indian Movement. It also covers his rebirth as a musician and spoken word poet after his wife died in a house fire suspected as arson.

If you missed the first screening earlier this spring, now is a great chance to come learn about this extraordinary man.
